Calm, but it moves. And we're raising the bar on quality. We want someone who'll help drive that. What You'll Own You lead the entire PM shift. 15 people across multiple sections. You report directly to the Operations Manager. You're the most senior person in the room. Quality: You set the standard and train your team leaders to hold it. You're the one who notices the produce that's off, the platter that's not right, the portioning that's drifted. You keep a roving eye across the floor. Nothing substandard leaves on your watch. Numbers: On-time delivery, labour, waste, timelines. Within three months you know every gap. Within six, your shift runs at or above benchmark. People: Get on the bench, show how it's done, explain the why. You lift knife work, portioning, assembly, food safety through your team leaders and hands-on when it counts. Product Development Input: Our PD Manager owns the creative direction, but your input matters. You trial new items at production scale, troubleshoot, adjust, and train the team. You give honest feedback on what works, what breaks at volume, and where flavours can improve. Your food knowledge shapes how recipes actually run. Energy: When you walk in, performance lifts. Not from noise, from presence. You keep the pace sharp and the mood right, even on the hard days. You're Right for This If Trained chef, 7 years in food/hospitality, at least 2 years in a senior role (sous chef, senior sous chef, 2IC, or similar) You've led teams of 10-20 in high-volume environments: hotels, clubs, contract catering, events, large restaurants Quality is personal. You check the produce when it arrives because it bothers you when it's not right You develop people.
